Obituary of Stanley Todzia

TODZIA, Stanley Age 49 of Horseheads, NY. He was born May 25, 1969 in Elmira and passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center after an extended illness. He was predeceased by his sister Linda Todzia and nephew Clinton Rockhill. Stanley is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Angela; children Adam (fianc? Brianna Johnson) of Elmira Heights and Alexandria (Allie) at home; parents Carl, Sr. and Charlotte Todzia of Erin; siblings John & Mary Todzia of Horseheads, Frank (Tina) Todzia of Syracuse, Karen & Joe West of Elmira Heights, Kim Todzia of Horseheads and Carl, Jr. & Tina Todzia of Pine Valley; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; father-in-law and mother-in-law LaVern & Joann Mallacoccio of Elmira; brother-in-law and sister-in-law LaVern & Lisa Mallacoccio of Elmira; and his beloved canine companion Jazmine. Stanley was a self employed painting contractor with Todzia Brothers Painting. He graduated from Horseheads High School and was a Mark Twain Scholar; volunteer with the Horseheads American Legion; enjoyed camping, car shows and family trips; was a seasonal member of Campers Haven in Bath and won many awards and trophies with his Mustangs at the Ford Nationals. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Tuesday, November 27th from 4:30 to 7:30 pm. His funeral service will be held there on Wednesday, November 28th at 10 am. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
