Obituary of Helen M. Lucieer

LUCIEER, Helen M. Age 83 of Horseheads, NY. She was born February 16, 1930 in Corning, NY, daughter of the late Earl and Ruth (Brown) Phenes and passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013 at home. She was predeceased by her husband Peter in 2007 and sister Marguerite Drake, brothers Duke and Chuck Phenes. She is survived by her children and their spouses Larry and Laura Kniffin of HI, Rhonda and Terry Oakley of Horseheads, Dan and Marie Kniffin of Elmira, Joy and Gary Pierce of Harrison, TN; step daughter and husband Jackie and Jim Thompson of Palmyra, NY; brother Leslie Phenes of KY. 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephew. Mrs. Lucieer was a hairdresser for many years and a CNA in Elmira and Florida. Family and friends are invited to her memorial service on Thursday, March 7th at 3 pm at Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira. Rev. Scott Lowmaster will officiate.
