Obituary of Charlotte A. Allegretto

ALLEGRETTO, Charlotte Amelia (Glover) Age 85 of Elmira, NY. She was born August 16, 1927 in Elmira, daughter of the late Lloyd and Marjorie (Champion) Glover and passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Elcor Health Services. She was predeceased by her husband Guy Allegretto, Sr.; mother and stepfather Marjorie and Pete Botto and father Lloyd Glover. She is survived by her children and their spouses Joseph and Mary Ellen Allegretto of Elmira, Guy Allegretto, Jr. of Amherst, NY, Eileen Machuga of Elmira, Earl Allegretto of Elmira Heights and Carmella Allegretto-Baker and Michael Baker of Horseheads; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. Charlotte was a former employee of EOP and she retired from the Star Gazette as a proof reader. At her request, all services will be held privately. Interment will be in St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may remember Charlotte through donations to the American Cancer Society, 1801 W. Water St., Suite B, Elmira, NY 14905. Walter J. Kent Funeral Home is assisting the family. Her family thanks Dr. Calderone for his many years of wonderful care and the staff at Elcor for the care and comfort they gave their mom.
