Obituary of David S. DePrimo

DePRIMO, David S. Age 77 of Elmira, NY. He was born September 3, 1941 in Elmira, son of the late Paul and June (Rice) DePrimo and passed away Friday, June 14, 2019 at home after an extended illness. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son David S. DePrimo II; sister Theresa Myers and brother Paul DePrimo, Jr. David is survived by his wife of 27 years, Deborah; children Toni (Larry) Parker, Melissa Stimmerman, Georgia DePrimo, Susan Almoude, Regina DePrimo, Larry "Bud" Stimmerman, Michale (Emily) DePrimo, Tammy Stimmerman, Shelly (Miguel) Collazo, Timothy (Eva) Stimmerman, Rodney DePrimo, Antoinette DePrimo (goddaughter) and Michael Guthrie; 39 grandchildren; 49 great grandchildren; sister Elizabeth (Frank) DelDuca along with several other relatives. During his career, David was employed with Goostrey's, Glider City Cab Co., Dimon & Bacorn and Walmart. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan; enjoyed scratch off lottery tickets, Slingo, poker, country music and pulling pranks. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Tuesday, June 18th from 10 am to 12 noon. His funeral service will begin at 12 noon. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. His family thanks Miguel Collazo for all his help and a special thank you to his granddaughter Larrissa for her fundraising efforts.
