Obituary of Thomas Harding Jr.

Thomas James Harding, Jr., more commonly known as TJ, was born in Elmira, NY, May 2, 1956. He passed from this life on August 20, 2019 at the young age of just 63. He was a life-long resident of Elmira, NY. The number one quality he possessed was his love for his mother. He was also a master carpenter and plumber and truly a jack of all trades. He was good with his hands! He could build or fix just about anything. He loved his family and friends. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for anybody. TJ is survived by his life-long partner, Tina Pratt and her children Meagan Cassada (Michael Cassada) and their children Zoey Cassada, Kylee Bleecker and Brandalyn Bleecker and Ryan Palmieri (Deidre Sweet) and their children Madison Sweet and Nathan Palmieri. In addition to Tina; he leaves behind his "momma" and father, Joyce and Donald Friends. He is survived by an older sister, Susan Friends-Harding, two younger brothers, Michael and David Harding, and two younger sisters, Lillian Gordon and Sally Vanbuskirk. He is survived by one son and 2 daughters. His oldest child and son is Thomas Harding III (Jennifer Harding) and their three daughters, Daylynn, Delylah and Delaney Harding. His oldest daughter is Joanna Strergion (Peter Stergion), and their children Valerie Stergion, and a grandson, Nathan Stergion. Amber Harding is his youngest daughter and her 5 children, Michael and Mason Colson, Preston Bridgemon and Randi and Nikolaus Box, along with nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
