Obituary of John F. Johnson

JOHNSON, John F. Age 55 of Lowman, NY. He was born November 21, 1963 in Elmira, NY, son of the late Robert and Mary (Howe) Johnson and passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at home. He is survived by his brother Joe Johnson of Lowman; sister Sue Mason of Southport; children Lisa, Elizabeth and Heather Johnson all of Elmira, Joyce Johnson of Horseheads, Trina Clemens of Elmira and Kathy Johnson of NYC; his significant other Teena Bennett with their pups Dazzer and Sassy; several grandchildren; nieces Jessica Johnson, Tammy Tyler, and Missy Taylor along with her husband Jim and children Matthew Taylor, Rebecca Taylor and Alissa Croft; nephew Jody Johnson; best friend Ted Ostrander along with many other friends. John was a mechanic, employed with Turk's Automotive and also self-employed. He enjoyed fast, old cars and riding his motorcycles. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 25, 2019, at 11 AM, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 563 Jerusalem Hill Road, Elmira, 14901.
