Ruth was my big sister and of the many wonderful memories i have of her - is her laugh! or was it more of a cackle? whatever you call it, it was infectious and you just had to join in! Ruthie (as we youngins' called her) was sweet, kind and gentle, always had a smile on her face and wouldn't hurt a fly. She was handy around the house, could swing a mean hammer.
