Obituary of Valerie R. Morgan

Morgan, Valerie R. Age 59 of Elmira, NY went home to be with our Lord Wednesday, October 30, 2019. She was born December 8, 1959 in Elmira and was predeceased by her parents Rev. Harry and Sally Morgan. She was also predeceased by her brother Sgt. Kenneth Morgan and sister Vanessa Morgan. Valerie is survived by her daughter Chuaron Morgan of Elmira; son Samuel Morgan of Binghamton; grandchildren Tyqane Morgan, Malik Melendez, Xavier Melendez, Ja-rell Melendez, Jake Brooks, Tyrell Morgan, Aneesah Morgan, MacKayla Morgan, Amayah Morgan, Jayden Morgan, Alexiana Morgan and Elijah Morgan; 7 great grandchildren; sister Ashley Morgan of Elmira; nephew Jaxon Cintron of Elmira. Valerie was formerly employed with the Elmira City School District. Val always kept the door open if you needed a place to lay your head or needed something good to eat. She'd welcome anyone with that beautiful smile. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Tuesday, November 5th from 12 to 1 pm. Her funeral service will begin at 1 pm. Rev. Johnnie Vaughn will officiate.
