Obituary of David Ray Rivera

David Ray Rivera "K. Twin" Age 32, passed away unexpectedly December 2, 2019. He was born February 15, 1987 at Union Hospital, Bronx, NY, son of Angel L. Rivera (Father) and Elsie Rios Rivera (Mother). David is one of fraternal twins and shared this bond with his brother, Angel Rivera, who is left with the pain of losing his other half. While David was alive, he lived it to the fullest as a strong and wise person that valued his living principles, and believed family was everything. He was loved by so many from different walks of life that will miss him dearly. He was a proud father, loyal king, and good person in this life, and always tried his best to help anyone that was in need without question. His smile and laughter could light up any room and change any situation for better. David leaves behind many broken-hearted family members and friends, but most importantly his children, brothers and sisters. David leaves behind three sons, Syncere, Sidari and Messiah, for which words cannot describe nor explain their loss. He also leaves three brothers and three sisters, Angel L. Rivera, Jesus L. Rivera, Evelyn Rivera, Misol Rivera, Micielo Rivera, and Yahmeia Kitching who are grieving his loss. David was loved and will be deeply missed by so many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends throughout the Rios-Rivera family. The Rios-Rivera Family will be sharing their final prayers and farewells Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 3-5 pm at the Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake Street, Elmira. David's funeral service will take place there at 5 pm with Rev. Darren McDougall officiating.
