Obituary of William T. McKibbin

William T. McKibbin III ELMIRA HEIGHTS, Formerly of Erin, NY – Passed away on November 24, 2019 at the age of 73. Bill was born on March 7, 1946, the son of William McKibbin, Jr. and Eleanor Palmer Andrus. Bill is survived by his mother, Eleanor Andrus; three sisters, Betty (Lawrence) Jayne of Van Etten, NY, Beverly Blaine of Horseheads, NY, and Linda (Mark) Donelson of Watkins Glen, NY; son, William Timothy (Shannon) Turner and grandchildren, Noah and Kaitlyn of Citronelle, AL; nieces, Lynne (John) Turner and Abigail Donelson; and nephew, Martin (Jennifer) Jayne. Bill entered the Navy in 1964, serving his country honorably until 1967. He was employed by American LaFrance, Ward LaFrance, and Ward Filters. Bill loved the outdoors and spent memorable times with his hunting and fishing buddies. He proudly displayed his mounted deer heads and other trophies. Bill will be greatly missed. It was his wish that there be no formal service.
