Obituary of Timothy D. Thorneley

THORNELEY, Timothy D. age 62 of Rochester, NY, formerly of Elmira, NY. He was born November 17, 1957 in Elmira, son of the late John and Martha (Wilcox) Thorneley and passed away Thursday, January 9, 2020 unexpectedly at home. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Kathleen O'Leary. He is survived by his children Dean (Aimee) and Yvonne both of Rochester and Zack (Shayna) of Elmira; grandchildren Ava of Rochester, Mason of Elmira, Kolton of Rochester, Jeremy and Jaxson both of Elmira; sisters Joan Burgar of Colorado Springs, CO and Mary (Rob) Fabrizio of Greer, SC; brother-in-law Jeff O'Leary of Elmira along with several loving relatives. Tim was formerly employed with Elmira Stamping and Cameron Manufacturing. He was a history buff, attended baseball games at Dunn Field for many years; was an avid NY Giants fan and a car and motorcycle enthusiast. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Saturday, January 18th from 2 to 4 pm. His memorial service will follow at 4 pm.
