Obituary of Andre R. White

On Sunday March 15, 2020, Andre White, the loving father of four children, gained his heavenly wings at the age of 41. Affectionately known as "Pooh", Andre was born April 10, 1978 in McRae, Ga to Alfredia and Donald White. A 1996 graduate of Elmira Free Academy, he went on to become the successful owner and operator of Dre's Moving and Handyman Service. He was a hard worker and great with his hands. As a creative problem solver, he could figure out how to repair anything. He was an avid music lover, New York Yankees fan, and loved animals. As a devoted father, Andre loved spending time with his children watching movies, cooking, and pulling pranks. He was the ultimate jokester. In addition to his parents, Andre is survived by his four children; Alajha Nelson, Andre White II, Gavin Fabrizio, and Tatiana White, his siblings; Casonya White, Lawanda Robinson (Alexander), Donald White Jr., Thomas Pittman Jr., Mario White, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Known for his infectious smile and quick wit, Andre will be remembered for the selfless, exceptionally loving and caring man he was. He will be missed deeply.
