Some of my fondest childhood memories are of playing at Uncle Paul and Aunt Lorraine's house, where there were as many kids running around as we had at home. :) I especially remember all us kids camping out at their house during Hurricane Agnes in '72, which was like a big party for the kids, while the adults dealt with the real world. Georgeanne, I love your story about the boogie man!
My love to all of you - Aunt Lorraine, and all the kids and grandkids.

Dear Lorraine and the entire Gilboy Family,
It was sad to learn of Paul's passing. He was such a gentle man and a wonder family man, great neighbor to my mom and sister. May you all be comforted by the memories of the good times. Paul has now received his just reward for a life well lived. I am not certain we will be able to make the calling hours or funeral but please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Fondly,
Bill & Pam Caroscio

He had a good long life… always had a few jobs on the side to take care of his growing family. He was always ready to engage in good times, and could be counted on in the worst of times as well. I remember the time he saved a life from a house fire, it made the front page news! Many years ago he had a Jeep and would take a few of us for fun rides, he helped us learn ice skating on the Brick Pond. He always loved dogs and had a dog named BooBoo… Our dog Sport was not friendly with outsiders… except for Uncle Paul. Once upon a memory… my older brothers and I went to the Brick pond without asking permission… The Boogie man chased us back home to Grandma Gilboy’s (I hid under her apron) and my terrified brothers ran through her place and were frightened as well! It was only within fifteen years or so ago that we found out it was Uncle Paul…which made sense because Sport allowed him to do that! Aunt Rose and Uncle Paul would play hide and seek with us and always had a great time! Later years included Mr and Mrs Santa Claus … Uncle Paul and Aunt Rose… such fun times for all and our younger cousins and families! He will be missed! God speed and may perpetual light forever shine on his beautiful soul…
