George E. Wittig
Nov. 15, 1943 – Sept. 27, 2012
After a long battle with his health, George passed away at Argot Ogden Medical Center on September 27, 2012. George is preceded in death by his parents Bertha Nancy (Brown), & George Alfred Wittig; his younger brother Monte L. Wittig; & his sister-in-law Rose Wittig.
George is survived through his loving children; Myron Wittig of PA & Frances M. Mattison also of PA. He is also survived & will be dearly missed by his siblings Ira J. & Loretta Wittig of Tunkhannock, PA; Donald E. & Joyce Wittig of Norwalk, CA; Charles J.(Chuck) & Roxy Wittig of Simi Valley, CA; Russell I. Wittig of Waverly, NY; JoAnne N. & Thomas Hardwick of Everson, WA; Frances R. & Dennis Warigner of Simi Valley, CA; Albert M. & Jan Wittig of Bellflower, CA; Richard J. Wittig of Clinton, AR; Robert Wittig; & sister-in-law Deb Wittig of Sedro Woolley, WA; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews & cousins.
George enjoyed many things from cars & motorcycles to going through old photos & talking to his siblings about memories. He had several close friends & was always happy to meet more. In his younger days, George was a truck driver & a veteran of the U.S. Army. George was a wonderful person & will be dearly missed by all who had the honor of knowing or having him in their lives. Rest in Peace.
