Who was she? As a person?
Jacqui, was my sister, and will be truly missed. I think about Jacqui everyday...her kind heart and spirit. Jacqui always had an eye for fashion. The way she dressed---color coordinated... Matching. From her head to her toe. Growing up Jacqui taught me SO much... I used to sit on her bed and watch her put on her make-up perfectly. She never wore her hair in the same style, and made sure every strand was in place. She could do everything...and so creatively. (wedding cakes, marsh mellow fruits salads, make curtains, refinish furniture, gardening....) You name it-- Jacqui could do it. She even had ALL her cleaning supplies organized in a special cart with a place for everything she needed. And would say," It just makes sense." Her penmanship was beautiful... as if an artist was drawing letters on a canvas. When I bought my home in Florida--it was Jacqui who helped line my kitchen cabinets with a soft blue liner that made my glasses "sparkle like the sun". It was Jacqui who helped me choose just the right drapes to make my windows look like something from a magazine. I'm SO thankful that I had such a LONG conversation on the phone with Jacqui, which at the time, I did not realize it would be my last. But, that's what I will remember most about Jacqui....her voice. Her voice on that day which lasted into the early hours of the morning. Thanks, Jacqui....I will miss you...I miss my sister.

Gordon, I'm so sorry to hear of Jacqui's passing. She was always generous with her beautifully handcrafted Christmas gifts to the staff (and those rum cake balls!). God bless you with His peace and tender care during this difficult time. You are in my prayers.

Jacqui will be remembered for her loving, compassionate spirit, strong faith in God and her kind, gentle smile. Jacqui was also a very creative woman. As an artist she could draw, paint, macramé, cross-stitch and sew. Jacqui took pleasure in refinishing old furniture, leaving them breathtakingly beautiful. She had a beautiful singing voice and in her teenage years was the lead singer in a local band. Jacqui was also a fantastic decorator who had an artistic flair for organization. I miss you my dear sister. As you liked to say "love you forever, like you for always."

We remember days at Corning Community College watching Gordon play basketball! We remember holding your first baby and wondering if we would ever get that far! We did, but a few years later when you were on number two!
