Obituary of Jacquelyn L. Hills

HILLS, Jacquelyn L. Age 67 of Horseheads, NY. She was born November 7, 1946 in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of Crawford and Hattie (Emanuel) Pugh and passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She was predeceased by her father Crawford Pugh in 1991 and is survived by her husband of 44 years, Gordon W. Hills, Jr.; daughter and son-in-law Danya and Darren McKinnis of Riverview, FL; son Gordon W. Hills III of Sebring, FL; grandchildren Kennedy and Darren (DJ) McKinnis and Xavier and Meikya Hills; mother Hattie Pugh of Elmira; siblings Mary and Henry Dumas of Lancaster, CA, Barbara Pugh of Plant City, FL, Esther and Gerard Jones, Harvey Pugh, Cindy and Joseph Williams all of Elmira, Rhoda Pugh of Naples, FL, Lisa and Kenneth Narde of Elmira along with a host of nieces and nephews. Jacqui was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Thursday, March 20th from 5 to 7 pm. Her memorial service will be held on Friday, March 21st at 1 pm in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 708 Lena Place, Elmira presided by Dennis Ellsworth. Burial will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
