Grampa,
You stood as such a strong and spirited man for everyone around you, and none of us will forget that. You were a men of few words, yet what you did say had great weight and measure. Although you are no longer with us, the memories you have made with each and everyone of us will remain as we try to find a way through life with you no longer in it. I know you have found peace where you are now, and please bare with the rest of us on earth because we are trying to do the same deprived of your presence.
Love you so much and miss you Grampy.

Dan was a great guy. I could always count on having a lengthy well thoughtout conversation with him whether it be about gymnastics, cats, cars, our broken heater, or the simple things like keeping the door shut when it needs to be shut. I loved how Dan always reminded me of when gymnastics was going to be on even though I already knew but I appreciated the reminders. He was the only man that was ever able to tell me about the sport I loved before I was able to tell anyone else. I loved the way Dan said "Hello" when I walked though the door and "huh" when he wanted things elplained more clearly. I think we both appreciated the finer details in life. The sound of his voice saying those two words will forever be etched in my memory. I will miss his dependability. "What am I going to do when my heater breaks this winter?" I met Dan when I was 19 and again at 33. Great people always come back in your life and the next time I meet Dan will be even sweeter! Thank you for everything Dan. You will be greatly missed!

You were the best grandpa in the whole world. We have known eachother sence I was a baby. I miss you so much. You were such a great grandpa. You took care of me. You were always there for me,now it's my turn to be there for you. I remember when we would watch the Price is Right and Let's make a deal together. I would always go to Walmart with you. We would always go fishing together. You always went to my soccer games. You would always watch me at my gymnastics meets that were twice a year. I have to remember you are in a better place now. I love you so much. We will someday see eachother again. I love you and miss you.
