I knew Larry since I was 20. That was 14 years ago. He was a close friend of mine. One of our favorite things to do was to drive through the country listening to German heavy metal. My condolences to his family. He will always live on in our memories.

To Larry's Family and Friends,
I was shocked and deeply saddened by Larry's passing.
He was a special friend who taught me hockey. We met at one of the first Jackel's games
over 17 years ago. I had never seen a game, he lived and breathed the game.
Larry was a willing tutor and I learned subtleties of hockey that few other people could have taught me.
When hockey returns to Elmira, the fans in Section 111 will miss Larry.
Holiday travel plans will keep me from attending memorial services, so I will say here,"Rest in peace, Buddy"
Sincerely,
Bob Guzman

God Bless Larry. I am totally shocked to read this. I worked with Larry for many years at Toshiba and most recently at the Corning Big Flats facility.
I just talked with Larry and knew he had not been well but seemed optimistic and was either in process of initiating or had already initiated the retirement process.
I feel so bad he was not able to enjoy his retirement which he worked and saved for.
Larry was a very interesting, intelligent and friendly guy. I will certainly miss seeing him and talking with him.
God Bless Larry and family and may he Rest In Peace.

I just received word of Larry's passing and I am stunned. I've know Larry since the late 70's and he was always there when you needed him. He was the best man at my wedding and like an uncle to my kids. I'm at a total loss for words. Love ya brother, you will be missed.
