Obituary of Larry Burbage

Burbage, Larry B. Age 65 of Horseheads. He was born April 11, 1951 in Elmira, son of the late Walter Burbage and Mary Frances (Parsons) Hammond, and passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017 unexpectedly. He is survived by his siblings David Burbage of Horseheads, Jack Burbage of Big Pond, PA, Cher (Bill) Thomas of Big Pond, PA, Mary Earls of Elmira and Donald (Sharon) Hammond of Waverly, NY; stepbrothers Simeon Hughson of Albany, NY, Richard Hughson of Rochester, NY and Andy Hughson of Pittston, PA; stepsister Lee O'Connell of Corning, NY; beloved aunt Patsy Chapman of Springfield, PA along with several nieces and nephews and his cats Tucker and Simba. Larry was employed with Corning, Inc. He loved baseball and hockey and was a season ticket holder for the Elmira Jackals. He was the co-founder of Elmira Volunteer Paranormal. Family and friends are invited to his memorial service on Saturday, April 15th at 1pm at Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Chemung County Humane Society.
