We hiked many trails together, Mike and I, and talked about everything under the sun and maybe helped each other through some difficult times. He certainly was a "people person," and he brought much laughter & sunshine into my life. If there's a heaven, he's dancing at the big Grassroots in the sky with Frank!

Dear family and friends of Michael,
Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. I hope you can find comfort from God's word during this difficult time. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 describes God as a "father of tender mercies and God of all comfort.." One way he comforts us is the hope he gives us of seeing our loved ones again. John 5:28, 29

Gone too soon, Mike was so full of life and loved to experience all life had to offer. The Grassroots Festival won't be the same without him. As his obituary said he was a people person, everywhere he went he would strike up conversations with people. Karen-your devotion to him through his illness and final days was a blessing. Mike was a really good friend to me and my family, I miss him dearly, there is a huge void. He shone brightly and lived life to the fullest, the world is a little darker with the passing of this bright light.

Dear Karen and family of Mike, Jim and I are glad we had time to get to know Mike when he visited Folsom. It was our pleasure to take him to see Lake Tahoe the last time he came and show him around its natural beauty. I think he liked his visits in California, And most of all seeing his Grandchildren. Mike was a good soul and we will miss him,no longer to show him more of Calif. May his life be remembered with the happy times you shared.

Karen, Marissa, Ashley and families please accept my deepest sympathies Mike was much too young to have left us. I have many great memories of Mike. The Christmas holidays always bring back the memory of Mike singing "Happy Holidays" in his best Perry Como voice. Always brings a smile. Mike was a good friend and I'll miss his random calls and our lunch dates.
Rest in Peace Mikie.
