Marty you are greatly missed. We will look after Lisa in your absence. We love and miss. We miss your smiling face and laugh. We are blessed to have the time we did have with you before the Lord called you home.
Love you,

Mr. Mattison (Marty) was the janitor at George Washington School and he used to let a couple of us hang out after school to slide down the hallways on the scooters from gym class....He will forever be a memory of mine.

Marty was one of my first contacts when I was hired for my first teaching position at George Washington. I often told him his “rough, gruff demeanor” didn’t mask his selfless heart of gold. Marty would do anything for anyone always with an under the breath comment. He loved his daughters very much, always talking about them when he would clean my classroom. Upon meeting Marty, you quickly learned not only what a hard worker he was but also what a great man he was, overcoming many obstacles in his life. Rest In Peace Marty....my thoughts and prayers are with all of your family. God bless.
